We want you to exercise safely! Here are our guidelines for exercising at home, as well as the terms and conditions for watching our online class videos.


Through watching the online class videos you acknowledge that it is your responsibility and liability to ensure that the area that you exercise in is safe and comfortable; all the exercises must be done using a Pilates mat so that you have some cushioning for your body.
Make sure that you have sufficient space around you to do the exercises.

The terms and conditions that you signed before purchasing your membership via TeamUp apply to these videos.
There are also particular points that apply to the online class videos and in watching the videos you agree to abide by these terms.

You acknowledge that you are fully aware that participation via online class videos involves risks and that you accept all the risks of participating.

You affirm that you are in proper physical condition to participate in any activity associated with The Pilates Space, its classes and online class videos, and are aware that there are risks in participating in any physical activity, potentially which could result in injury, serious injury or death.

You are aware that it is advised to consult a physician prior to participating in or using our services. If you suffer from any health problems, are undergoing any medical treatment or are taking medication, you must consult your medical practitioner before starting classes. Pilates classes should not be considered a replacement for professional medical counselling or treatment.

You agree to declare all injuries, illness, pregnancy and medication being taken whilst filling out the registration form. If any of these change whilst being a member at The Pilates Space, you will make us aware before your next visit and prior to undertaking any further classes.

Please note that it is inadvisable to do Pilates between weeks 8-14 of pregnancy, unless by special arrangement with your teacher.

Exercise should be performed at a pace which feels comfortable to you. Pain is the body's warning system and should not be ignored. You must take responsibility for your own body and not follow any online class video that is unsuitable for your state of health or medical condition. If you are in any doubt as to which classes are suitable, then you must consult with your regular teacher before you proceed. You must stop exercising immediately if you notice any detrimental physical effects. You confirm that in this case, you will seek the advice of a suitably qualified health professional and will not continue to use any of our Services unless that health care professional has advised you that you are fit and able to do so.

The Pilates Space cannot be held responsible for any personal injury, illness or, in the worst circumstance death which happens on our premises or as a result of our facilities or services provided.

Without prejudice to the conditions set out under our Health and Safety terms, it is your responsibly to ensure you are in the appropriate physical and mental condition to participate in a class or to follow an online class video.

We supply these videos to be used only by The Pilates Space clients with active memberships, and exclusively for domestic and private use. You agree not to use the Services for any commercial, business or re-sale purposes, and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
